Winchester, Indiana, October 16, 2023 – An outgrowth of the Cultivating Community initiative, the Forum of Funders is now accepting applications for its initial grant funding cycle.
Each application must be submitted through the online application form located under the Forum of Funders page on the Cultivating Community’s website – rccultivatingcommunity.org. The deadline for applications is Thursday, November 30, 2023, and funding decisions are expected to be announced in January 2024.
The Forum of Funders was established to provide a means for action groups arising from the Cultivating Community process to obtain initial funding for various projects. Requiring a minimum $30,000 commitment over an initial three-year period for voting rights, the Forum includes the following ten (10) voting members:
- Chris and Doreen Culy
- City of Union City (IN)
- City of Winchester (IN)
- Community Foundation of Randolph County
- Dave Rodgers (via the Radio Gives Back Fund)
- Randolph County (IN) Commissioners
- Randolph County (IN) Council
- Randolph County United
- Reid Health
- The Winchester Foundation
Cultivating Community – an ongoing partnership between Randolph County United, the Community Foundation of Randolph County, and the community at large – is aimed at enhancing the quality of life in Randolph County by tackling challenges and pursuing opportunities.
